National Diabetes Education Program (NDEP), National Institutes of Health

Challenge:
Provide meeting planning support for multiple work group and steering committee meetings and nearly 15 tradeshows per year.  This project is a five-year federal subcontract.

TEPG Impact:
The TEPG NDEP team provides site research, selection and contract negotiations for multiple meetings held in Washington, DC and across the country.  This support includes the development of logistical documents for attendees; attendee communication; management of travel and hotel arrangements, including room blocks, food and beverage, audiovisual, room layouts and onsite management.  TEPG also provides reconciliation and remits per diems for applicable travelers.

TEPG supports NDEP’s tradeshow outreach by compiling and monitoring the event calendar as well as securing all arrangements for the designated shows.  This includes remitting registration fees, ordering booth and ancillary equipment, managing freight to and from the show, storage of the booth, securing accompanying sleeping rooms and onsite management at select shows.
